As we approach 2022 general election, bold questions are arising on who might Succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta as his term set to expire. President Uhuru Kenyatta has been in leadership for two consecutive terms where by he’s finalizing his last term in office since their Presidential journey with his deputy William Ruto in 2017.

 

However, as we are at the verge of 202w general election, fresh details have emerged on president Uhuru Kenyatta’s plan that will count out his colleague the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga despite of handshake.

 

President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Party boss Raila Odinga had United in form of handshake that bears Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) a move that aims to amend the Kenyan Constitution with an objective of uniting Kenyans.

 

However, despite of the first term good relationship exhibited by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, the table turned in second term, where Deputy President William Ruto’s power was diminished. DP Ruto was Accused of being disrespectful to his boss President Uhuru and Accused to many corruption scandals in the government.

Details indicates that despite of the handshake move between President Uhuru and opposition leader Raila Odinga, Uhuru will not endorse him to succeed him coming 2022. Details indicates that President Uhuru and DP Ruto made a bold agreement on their Presidential journey in 2017.

 

According to the terms of their agreement, Uhuru was to rule for a period of two consecutive terms then Succeed by his DP Ruto for another two terms in office.

 

It’s on high expectation that President Uhuru Kenyatta have to Succeed the agreement for the perfect move. Reports outlines that Building Bridges Initiative will not guarantee Raila Odinga to be Endorsed for Kenya’s top seat. It’s on high time for President Uhuru Kenyatta to endorse his successor as general election approaches.
