BBI: Uhuru Throws Ruto Under The Bus

President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former prime minister Raila Odinga will hold a meeting today with leaders from the national assembly and the Senate at Naivasha where they will discuss concerning the Building bridges initiative.
During the launch of the BBI at Bomas, the president remarked that he had informed the deputy president Dr William Ruto concerning all the Developments about the report after the DP cried for inclusivity in the remaining process.
Despite of the assurance by the president Uhuru Kenyatta on the report, Ruto’s allies have cried foul as they have not been invited to meeting concerning the report at Naivasha.
“If there is anyone who needed proof that BBI is a project of dishonesty and deceit, look no further than the retreat that starts today at the Great Rift Valley Lodge in Naivasha. Simply because we want the report improved to iron out contentious issues, they have only invited MPs who want the report passed the way it is. Pole sana,” Moses Kuria posted on his Facebook page.
Yesterday the majority leader at the national assembly Amos Kimunya revealed that the reason for the meeting is to help the leaders from the houses of parliament to familiarize themselves with the report.
“The concerns from people who ignored the Building bridges initiative report making process will not return us back,” Cherangany Mp Joshua Kutuny told Ruto’s team.
Even if Ruto’s are not involved in the meeting the Senate Majority Leader Samuel Poghisio gave them a sign of relief that part of the agenda will be to convince leaders opposed to the report to support the bill.
