Bad News To Uhuru, Raila On BBI As IEBC Drops A Bombshell

This week will be a very critical week for the building bridges initiative team as most counties are expected to debate on the report.
Already the counties that have passed the Bill include Samburu, Nairobi, Vihiga, Laikipia, Kisii, Siaya, Kisumu, Kajiado, West Pokot, Busia, Trans Nzoia and Homa Bay.
It is only Baringo county which is KANU senator Gedion Moi’s stronghold which went against all odds to pass the report.
Deputy president Dr William Ruto has left counties which are allied to him in confusion as he has refused to declare his stand concerning the Building bridges initiative.
The 2 million car grants seems to have made the MCAS to pass the bill without much opposition as witnessed in most counties.
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati, gave a report concerning the BBI signatures collected in the past few days.
Chebukati asserted that 15% of the signatures which they have verified were not part of the IEBC voters registeration list.
They revealed that 31,829 signatrues were from supporters with incomplete details; 456,079 from those appearing more than once; 7,549 from those with records but no signatures; 668,578 who were not in the register of voters and one who objected.
Out of 4.3 million signatures which were collected close to 3.18 million BBI signatures were verified.
