Claims that the Building bridges initiative report is not popular in Mount Kenya made the handshake partners to be on their toes to popularize the building bridges initiative at region.

This week, Raila Odinga made a trip to the Outskirts of Nairobi along the Thika Super Highway where he went to garner support for the building bridges initiative.

Within the same week when Raila Odinga visited the mount Kenya region, president Uhuru Kenyatta is holding a meeting with the mount Kenya large region to convince them to support the report.

This comes a time when there have internal wrangles within Uhuru’s camp after Irungu Kang’ata sent a letter which showed that BBI is not at the hearts of the residents.

There has been a change of tune on Kang’ata’s fate after the report on BBI, late this week Former Gatanga Mp David Murathe came to defense of the Murang’a Senator and said that he was right by telling the truth on BBI Popularity at the Mt Kenya region.

Yesterday President Uhuru Kenyatta appreciated the members of the county assembly who accepted to pass the BBI report because strengthen devolution and accelerate Kenya’s socio-economic transformation.

Members of county assemblies from 10 counties that is Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Kirinyaga, Nyeri, Murang’a, Nyandarua, Kiambu, Laikipia and Nakuru accepted to fully support the Building bridges initiative when it shall be tabled at the assembly.
