Bad News? Schools To Be Closed? Angry Legislator Reacts As Fresh Details Backfires

Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has reacted towards the government’s action of Reopening schools and extension of curfew hours. According to Senator Ledama, he criticized the government’s move in that he wants schools to be closed according to his statement.

 

Ledama affirmed that it’s a task to parents as they set to raise school fees upon schools reopening on Monday 4th January 2021.

In his statement he pinned on social media in his twitter handle, Legislator Ledama Ole Kina was agitated about the move of extension of curfew hours, increase in taxes and opening of schools, a move that parents can’t afford. Ledama mocked the government heavily following the action set.

“You extend curfew hours ? increased taxes , opened schools and you expect parents to afford ? What the hell are you smoking ?,” Senator Ledama Ole Kina Penned

However, in a bid to curb further spread of covid-19, the government employed diverse containment measures to succeed the move. Among the measures initiated is the extension of curfew hours.

The government had shut up all educational institutions due to covid-19 pandemic and set to reopen on January 4th, 2021. Despite the upsurge of covid-19, the  government assured to reopen schools for resumption of learning process under strict adherence to covid-19 containment measures.
