Bad News! Schools Not Ready To Reopen On Monday 2021 As Fresh Details Backfires

Following the closure of all educational institutions in a bid to curb further spread of covid-19, the ministry of education in conjunction with the government had set fully resumption of learning on January 4th 2021. However, grade 4, class 8 and form 4 had reopened earlier.

 

Following the move set for total reopening of schools on Monday 4th January 2021, details has emerged opposing the move. This comes after schools are pushing for learning in shifts.

 

As stark reality and chaotic week awaits pupils, their parents and government officials next monday, the head teachers have said that they are not ready to reopen.Following a nine-month closure, they don’t have the money , the infrastructure and the teachers to keep Learners safe in classrooms and the coronavirus pandemic as per their claims.

 

However, the cabinet secretary of education prof George Magoha assured on the release of second term cash as Teachers Service Commission (TSC) said new teachers already hired.

 

The the ministry of education in line with the ministry of health had affirmed on setting up covid-19 containment measures in schools to ensure the safety of leaners. Head teachers were asked to ensure the implementation of the move as covid-19 pandemic upsurge.
