Arsenal Signs A World Class Player

Lamech Bwabi

Arsenal fans have all the reasons to smile as the club was able to sign their long time target former Atletico Madrid and Ghanaian International Thomas Partey on deadline day. The club was busy working to sign midfielder with House on the radar but they failed and landed on Party having secured defenders and also Aubamayeng, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka extending their stay at the Emirates.
The club has been for long looking for a midfieider who could replace Viera and now Party looks like he is the one. Before the coming of Partey, Arteta has been lacking depth in the midfield with only Xhaka, Elnemy and Ceballos who joined on loan from Real Madrid available. Xhaka and Elnemy have been used defensively while Dani attacking.
The excitement by the whole Arsenal family shows what they believe Partey can offer to the club now that Brazilian defender Gabriel is delivering and won the Arsenal player of the month. Partey gives Arteta alot of options and can change his formation whenever he wants because the midfield maestro is around. He can either be used defensively, attacking or both depending on the opponents style of play.
Partey is good when he has to tackle and win the ball. He is also not easily beatable and can provide long range passes which a striker like Auba or wingers like Pepe can easily terrorise the opponents defense. Diego Someone expressed his fear after the Ghananian International penned a farewell message to Atletico Madrid. He was that man who could change their way of play and launch attacks in a match that appeared difficult.
On Monday while Ghana was playing Qatar in qualifications matches, Arsenal fans were salivating to see the man make his debut after providing two assists in Ghana’s 5-1 victory. What was impressive about Partey was his long range assist that came from his half and now that Arsenal has fast singers and strikers like Pepe, then all is going to be well around Party. He is an amazing player who knows when to hold, to release and press.
