TSC interviews for administrators. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has made the rules for the current promotional interviews available. These interviews are primarily aimed at 13,713 school administrators filling posts that the Commission announced in January 2023
COMPOSITION OF THE TSC interviews for administrators INTERVIEWING PANEL
The panel interviewing the shortlisted teachers comprise of;
TSC sub-county or county directors chair the panel and represent the Commission Chairperson in the panel,the sub-county directors representing the Commission Secretary
The sub-county or county human resource officer represented by the staffing officer with each panel having an Administrative Assistant.
ROLES OF EACH MEMBER OF THE PANEL
CHAIRPERSON
The chairperson has the following roles
Be the head of the interview panel
Provide questions and questioning areas to all panel members.
set time for the exercise and set professionalism standards.
Welcome all candidates to the panel
Introduce panel members to candidates and close the interview exercise
Secretary representative
The Commission Secretary Representative will serve as the panel’s secretary, assisting in taking notes, validating the candidates’ documents, making recommendations to the panel as appropriate, and compiling the interview report at the end of the exercise (in consultation with other members of the team) for submission to the Regional Director.
The director representative, on the other hand, will assist the Chairperson and Commission secretary representatives in conducting the interviews, while the administrative support officers will set up interview rooms and materials, organize the candidates and their documents, and notify the panels of any irregularities on the candidates’ documents
