Senate’s Major Leader Aron Cheruiyoti has broken silence on Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment, reveals when will the senate listen to Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment.
This comes as Meru County Assembly Members took a major action to impeach Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza over gross misconduct, abuse of office and improper management of county finance.
Reacting to the impeachment, Senate’s Major Leader Senator Aron Cheruiyoti has expressed the concern that the Senate will not rest in Christmas holiday as they will be ruling out on Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment.
According to Aron Cheruiyoti, the Senate shall therefore hold a special meeting Early next week to listen to Meru matters a.d determine the best for the people of Meru following the Impeachment of Governor Kawira Mwangaza.
“Meru MCAs have decided there’s no Christmas break for the senate. Well duty calls must be responded to.We shall therefore hold a special sitting early next week to listen to the Meru Matter & determine what’s best for the great people of Meru,” Senate’s Major Leader Aron Cheruiyoti said
