University Student Weds During Exam Time In A Colourful Ceremony

Pomp and color as Moi University student wedded during an exam session.

As part of exams students students undertaking a unit related to event planning were required to organize wedding.

In past the students had been organizing an imitations of wedding, however this time they decided to assist one of there classmates wed in a colorful ceremony.

Rodger Otieno who is one of the students undertaking the project, disclosed that they considered doing a real wedding as opposed to the past imitations to support there very own.

“This project has assisted us not only get marks but also get skills on how to successfully organize events such as wedding to make a living,” Rodgers Otieno asserted.

The bridegroom Nixon Lang’at, appreciated the students for supporting them as he confessed that were it not for the wife they could not have wedded.

Their supervisor Professor Jacqueline Korir congratulated the students for the commendable job as she said that it will help them along way in life.

The students and lecturer pledged to support Kenyans unable to raise finance for funding wedding expenses unlike in the past where they did imitations.

The parents to the couple could not hide their joy as the their children tied notes as they wished they all the best in life.
