President Dr William Ruto toured South Korea and met the President Yoon Suk-Yeol in Seoul as Kenya and South Korea signed a bilateral agreement at Yongsan Presidential Office, Seoul, South Korea.
During the tour Ruto said his main goal is to export agricultural products to match the technology we import and affirmed that the opportunity will grow markets for our tea, avocado and coffee.
“Kenya celebrates the special friendship it enjoys with South Korea. We commit to work together in deepening and strengthening our strategic partnerships and enhance bilateral trade — especially in tea, coffee and tobacco,” Ruto asserted.
Dennis Itumbi unveiled a list of achievements that they have made from Ruto’s vist to South Korea that will Kenya along way.
He revealed that president Ruto managed to secure Shs. 120b ($1b) to support Local Manufacturing in Health, Smart City,TVETs and Shs 1.3B Grant ( $11m).
South Korean government promised to support for Sagana Industrial Park and Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone.
