Arsenal opened the year with a stunning win away from home against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday January 2. The Gunners beat their hosts West Brom 4-0 to confirm their third win in a row. This helped them climb up in the premier league table. They are now in position 11 with 23 points while West Brom are still in the relegation zone at position 19 with a total of 8 points. The following is what was witnessed in that match.

1. Kieran Tierney’s opener.

Arsenal got the lead early in the first half. Kieran Tierney netted for The Gunners in the 23rd minute from Rob Holding’s assist. This put them ahead of their hosts West Brom. Tierney was so fantastic that night. He is also the one who provided the assist to the fourth goal.

2. Bukayo Saka’s goal.

Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s advantage in the 28th minute. Arsenal were on fire that night as they sought to redeem themselves. Saka was assisted by Emile Smith-Rowe.

3. Lacazette’s brace.

It was an awesome night for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette. He netted twice to help Arsenal win 4-0. His first goal came in the 60th minute while the second one was in the 64th minute after he received an assist from Kieran Tierney.
