Dr John Pombe Magufuli’s disappearance from the public space since late last month has been a cause of concern amongst Tanzanian nationals.

Reports circulating in the Kenyan media stations Indicated that Magufuli was admitted at Nairobi hospital and was in a very critical condition.

The Tanzanian government was quick to dismiss reports concerning Magufuli’s health as they said that he is in a good condition.

Opposition leader Tundu Lissu claimed last week that the Tanzanian president had been flown to Tanzania for a specialized treatment.

“Latest update from Nairobi: The Man Who Declared Victory Over Corona “was transferred to India this afternoon.”

Kenyans don’t want the embarrassment “if the worst happens in Kenya.” His COVID denialism in tatters, his prayer-over-science folly has turned into a deadly boomerang!” Tundu Lissu twitted.
Early Sunday morning, Tundu Lissu posted a video in Which Magufuli was addressing what will happen when he dies and accompanied it with a coded message.

“Mark Twain, the great American humorist and man of letters, reputedly said: “I don’t wish anyone dead but I’ve read certain obituaries with great satisfaction.” Like him, I, too, don’t wish anyone dead but I’ll write, not merely read, a certain obituary with great satisfaction!” Tundu Lissu said.
