The handshake between the former prime minister Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta is at the verge of collapsing.

In an interview with Citizen TV, ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna regretted that in 2002 President Uhuru Kenyatta was a State project because Moi designated him as his successor.
He said that all State projects, even in 2022 will fail because the will of the people is supreme.
Deputy Majority Whip Maoka Maore gave his views that the plotting Orengo was talking about does not make reference to the handshake and having a bearing on 2022.
Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khakwale claimed that It has now dawned to Sifuna and company that what they expected from the handshake, like to deliver Raila to State House might not happen.
Bonny Khakwale asserted, ” We cannot blame IEBC for the violence in Matungu or anywhere. IEBC was in fact the victim. We blame the police, Matiag’i, Kibicho and the President because they have the tools that manage force.”
Priscilla Nyokabi remarked that one of the major regrets in the Matungu by-election is the violence. Our by-elections are becoming the most lawless events and this needs to be addressed.
