International Body Clears Air On Vaccines ‘Stealing’ Plan By Politicians

Corona virus vaccines arrived in the country early this morning and were received by the health cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe and the transport CS Macharia.
Nation Media published articles concerning a plan by politicians to get the Vaccines ahead of the vulnerable groups which stired mixed reactions amongst Kenyans.
Amref Head Gitahi Githinji referred to the story on Nation as completely baseless story and attacked them for quoting ‘anonymous source’ in order for the news to find space on the headline. He said that they are part of vaccine misinformation/disinformation pthoo.
“This is the National Plan which has been well articulated & available to them. If the Nation has information that politicians have other plans the headline should be ‘Politicians plan to STEAL COVID19 jab’ – that’s a different story to avoid disinformation,” Githinji remarked.
However, popular activist Boniface Mwangi asserted that he doubts the words by the government since in most occasions they say what they do not mean.
“I hear you. From past experience, what the government says and what they do is totally different. Let’s wait and see if they will stick to what they said,” Boniface Mwangi said.
Kenyans are anxious to know whether the Vaccines will well utilized and given to the right people.
