Ruto’s Camp Breathes Fires And Reveals A Plan To Rig London Ward By-elections

The political differences between president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Dr William Ruto have continued to play out in the upcoming by-elections.
Dr William Ruto is Supporting candidates allied to the United Democratic Alliance party whose symbol is wheelbarrow.
Ruto’s allies in Nakuru led by the Senator Susan Kihika and Bahati Mp Kimani Ngunjiri have cited the use of government agencies to intimidate the UDA Supporters and Politicians.
In a letter sent to the inspector general of the police Susan Kihika claimed that the government in cahoots with the Jubilee Party has plotted to use the police to cause chaos and disrupt voting in Thursday’s by-election in London Ward, Nakuru Town West.
She said that it is an elaborate plan codenamed Operation Nakuru West, Kaptembwa OCPD Samson Gathuku has been directed to threaten, blockade and curtail the movement of UDA supporters on voting day.
“The dastardly, undemocratic and one-party era scheme is also meant to have marauding gangs cause mayhem UDA strongholds in the ward,” Susan Kihika remarked.
The UDA brigade warned the police, and indeed Mr Gathuku, against being used by rogue State agents to cause election violence or subvert the will of the people of London. As they should well know, the government is not on the ballot.
The statement read that the police should also know that UDA supporters will turn out in large numbers to express their democratic will and, more importantly, to jealously guard the vote.
